How can caregivers stay in sync with baby's routine?
Make the handoff about the few details the next caregiver needs—not a perfect record of every minute.

Keep the handoff small enough to use
A detailed system that nobody opens after three days is not helpful. Start with the information that changes what the next person does. For many families, that means the latest feed, the latest nap, and one sentence of context.
1. Log the moment
The person who gives the bottle or puts baby down adds the entry then, if possible.
2. Add only useful context
A short note such as “short car nap” can explain a day better than a long recap.
3. Check before asking
The next caregiver opens the shared view first, then asks anything the log cannot answer.
A simple shared-routine checklist
- Feeds: When was the last nursing session or bottle? Add amount or duration only if your family finds it helpful.
- Sleep: When did the latest nap begin and end? Note an unusual car, stroller, or contact nap if it affects the plan.
- Solids: Keep a simple record of foods tried and relevant preferences. For food safety, nutrition, allergies, or developmental questions, contact a qualified professional.
- Context: A single useful note can be enough: “Grandma is handling the next bottle” or “daycare pickup at 4.”
When a shared tracker helps
A shared tracker can be especially useful when parents work different shifts, a grandparent regularly helps, or the day moves between home and daycare. Bambii lets caregivers use the same baby profile to log sleep, feeds, solids, and notes. It is meant to organize routine information, not to make medical or feeding decisions for your family.
If you're deciding whether a connected tool is worth it, read one baby app or separate apps? or explore Bambii's all-in-one tracker.
